明日中文学校纪律守则

2015年8月修改案

1.明日中文学校租借Trinity Preparatory School  (http://www.trinityprep.org ) 教室作为教学之用。学生,家长及老师应爱护学校的一草一木。在校期间,学生不可随处乱跑嬉戏,损坏学校设施。在教室内,学生不应随意玩耍或损坏教室内的任何物品,特别是教师工作区域的电脑,图书及教具。下课后,学生应离开校园,不可逗留。明日中文学校对于学生课外在校园内(包括校园内湖及池塘的周围)发生的事故不负任何责任。

2.学生及老师应负责保持教室的整洁。下课后,学生应帮助老师把教室收拾整齐。移动过的桌椅应恢复原样,使用过的黑板(白板)必须擦干净。对于学生年龄较小的班级,我们希望值日家长课后帮助整理教室。

3.明日中文学校上课时间是周六下午2:00pm – 4:00pm(请参照具体校历确定日期)。第一节课:2:00pm-2:50pm ; 课间休息:2:50pm-3:05pm ; 第二节课:3:05pm-3:55pm. 学生应按时到校上课,因故不能上课,应事先向老师请假。

4.学生在校期间必须由老师监管。课间休息学校课间休息值班家长应帮助老师维持纪律。

5.明日中文学校下课后学校会提供一个小时的操场和篮球场供同学们自由活动,但学校不负责自由活动时的接送和安全。家长必须在4:00下课时从教室将学生接走并在自由活动时全程陪同。所有家长和学生必须在5:30前离校。

6.为保持良好的教学秩序,希望家长们不要停留在教室附近大声喧哗,聊天。学生上课期间,家长可在教学楼外的凉棚下休息,聊天,或到家长休息室休息。也可去附近购物,但必须于下午3:45返回学校。

7.为帮助学生有效的学好中文,学生必须按时完成家庭作业,家长应督促辅导。

8.学生不应携带电子物件到校。如:游戏机,MP3,  MP4, iPod, 等。为方便学生和家长联系,学生可携带手机,但上课期间必须关机。

9.学校的教学需要各个家庭的热心参与. 我们要求家长参加各班的家长值日,协助维持课堂、校园秩序。依据各班人数,每位家长必须参加至少一次值日。因故不能参加时,请及时与班级协调员联系。

10.对于不听老师警告,违反校规的学生,将作以下处理:

一次:通知家长;

二次:警告;

三次:开除。

11.为便于学校管理,学生及家长必须遵守学校有关接送学生的规则家长应按时,有次序地接送孩子。

 

 

 

明日中文学校学生接送规则

为了便于学校管理,维护学生安全,自2014年春季起,明日中文学校家长及学生必须遵照下列规定接送学生。

 

1.到校:

明日中文学校教室租借时间为周六下午2:00 - 4:00,建议家长不要早于1:55送孩子到校。学生和家长到校后,不可擅自进入教学楼或教室。学生必须在“Student Resource Center”门口以班级为单位集合,由值日家长将学生列队领入教室。通常进教室上课时间为下午2:00学生因故迟到,可由家长送入教室,但家长不可在教室内停留,影响教学。

2.离校:

如无特殊情况,学校下课时间为下午4:00。家长于3:50起在教室门口安静地等候学生。各班老师或值日家长于3:50起在教室门口顺序将学生交给家长。学生不可独自离开教室,到校园里玩耍。学生因故需提前离校,家长应提前通知老师,介时可直接到教室领学生。参加课后活动的学生全程应由家长陪同。所有学生应确保由家长陪同在5:30离校。

 

3.家长如委托它人接孩子,必需向老师提供有家长签名的字条,说明具体安排。

 

 

 

教室使用守则

1.教室的桌椅及其它物件不可随意挪动。因特殊情况需要挪动的,必须在离校前恢复原样。

2.明日中文学校向老师提供白板书写笔,无特殊情况,老师尽量不使用教室内的白板书写笔。白板使用后,应擦干净。

3.学生在没有老师许可的情况下,不可在教室白板上写字,画画,不可在教室里随意走动,玩耍。

4.学生不可在教室内大声喧哗,打闹,不可使用,或玩耍教室内的任何教具或器件(包括电脑,图书等)。老师和学生均不可进入,使用教室内的教师工作区域

5.厕所位于教室外。如无特殊情况,我们要求学生,在课间休息时间,统一上廁所。厕所使用后,请注意保持清洁。

6.学生不可在教室内吃零食,喝饮料(矿泉水除外)。

7.中文学校禁止学生在教室内咀嚼口香糖。学生不可携带口香糖到校。

 

 

值日家长职责

1.值日家长必须于下午1:55到校,等候在“Student Resource Center”门口,负责招集本班学生并将学生列队领进教室

2.上课期间,值日家长应守候在本班教室内,随时帮助年龄幼小的孩子的特殊要求,或帮助老师维持课堂秩序和辅导学生练习中文。

3.课间休息时,值日家长应协助老师督管本班学生,教导学生遵守校规;确保学生不去湖边、不离开教室前的空地、不爬空地上的雕塑。

4.因我们租借的教室廁所配备在教学楼的中央位置,学生必须通过室外的走廊去廁所,课间休息时,值日家长应负责督促学生用完廁所后,及时回到教室,不可在室外逗留。

5.学生上课期间因紧急情况,需要用廁所,值日家长因跟随到室外并确定学生安全返回教室。

6.下课时,值日家长应帮助老师整理,清洁教室,将教室恢复原样,并协助老师将学生交给学生家长。

 

 

 

Chinese School of Tomorrow School Rules

--Revised in August, 2014

 

1.CST rents classrooms from Trinity Preparatory School (http://www.trinityprep.org )for teaching purpose. All the students, parents and teachers should take care of the school properties. During the school session, students are not allowed running around on the campus and inside the school building. In the classroom, students shouldn’t touch or play any items, especially the items in the teacher’s work area (e.g. computers, school books, teaching models, etc.). Students should leave the campus immediately after school. CST is not responsible for any after school accident happened on the campus (including the lake or pond area).

2. Students and teachers should take responsibility to keep the classroom clean and in the way it was. The white board should be cleaned after using. The students are encouraged to help the teacher to clean up the classroom after the class session is over. The parent patrol of the younger kid class should help the teacher clean up the classroom after the class session is over.

3. The Chinese School runs from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturdays. First Class: 2:00pm - 2:50pm; Recess : 2:50pm - 3:05pm; Second Class: 3:05pm - 3:55pm. The student should come to school on time. If the student cannot make to the school, the student or the parent should inform the teacher in advance.

4. The teacher has responsibility to supervise the students all the time during the school session.

5. CST offers one hour for afterschool activities at the open area and the basketball court. However, CST is NOT responsible for the student transport and safety during the afterschool hour. Parents are responsible for picking up the students from the classroom at 4:00pm and accompany them for various afterschool activities. All parents and students should leave the campus by 5:30pm.

6. In order to not interfering the class session, the parents should NOT stay near the classroom and talk loudly. We suggest the parents stay in the parent waiting room or the outdoor rest area. The parents can also go shopping. Please make sure to come back at 3:45 pm to get ready to pick up the child.

7. The students should do their homework after Chinese School. The parents should assist or make sure their kids finish their homework on time.

8. The students should NOT bring any electronic devices (e.g. Game Boy, MP3, MP4, iPod, etc.) to the school. However the students are allowed to bring their cell phones for the convenience of communicating with their parents, but the cell phones must be turned off during the class session.

9. CST welcomes the voluntary service from the parents. The parents will be assigned certain days to execute the patrol duty and help with the class. If the parent is not able to fulfil his/her responsibilities, please notify the classroom coordinator as soon as possible.

10. The following rules apply to students who do not listen to the teachers / follow school rules:

First time---talk to the parents;

Second time ---- warning email send to the parents;

Third time --- the students will not be allowed to come back to the Chinese School.

11. In order to maintain our school in the good order during the student drop off and pickup time, the students and the parents must follow the “CST Student Drop off /Pick up Procedures” when coming to the school.

 

 

 

CST Student Drop off/Pick up Procedures

 

1.Drop Off:

We rent the classroom from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturdays. We suggest DO NOT drop off the kids earlier than 2:00pm. Please DO NOT entering the school building and the classroom if you come to school early. The students should gather in front of the “Student Resource Center” building quietly when arriving. The on duty parent patrol will lead the class to the classroom at 2:00pm. If you’re late, please enter the classroom quietly without disturbing the class session.

 

2.Pick Up:

Normally, the class should be dismissed at 4:00pm. The parents should wait outside the classroom starting 3:50pm, the teacher or the parent patrol will release the students to the parents starting 3:55pm. The students are NOT ALLOWED to leave the classroom without the parents. If the student needs to leave earlier, please notify the teacher in advance, then the parent can go to the classroom directly to pick up his/her child. If the students wish to stay and play after 4:00pm, the parents should accompany them the whole time. The afterschool clubs participants can be transferred to the appropriate classrooms by the teachers. All parents and students should leave the campus by 5:30pm.

 

3.If the parent decides to have the other parent/friend pick up his/her kids, or several families doing car pool, a written notice with the parent’s signature must be submitted to the teacher in advance.

 

 

Classroom Rules

 

1.Keep the classroom the way as it was. Please DO NOT move any items (include the desks and chairs) in the classroom. If you need to move something, please make sure to move back before you leave.

2. CST will provide the Dry Erase Markers to the teachers, please DO NOT use the one in the classroom. Please clean the white board after using.

3.The students are not allowed to use the white board without the teacher's permission. No play around in the classroom.

4.The students are not allowed to touch and play any teaching resources in the classroom (include books, computers, posters, etc.). The CST teacher and the students SHOULD NOT enter and use the teacher’s work area in the classroom.

5.The restrooms are located outside of the classrooms. Except the emergency situation, the students should only use the restroom during the restroom break time. Please keep it clean after using.

6.Please DO NOT eating or drinking in the classroom (except bottle water).

7.Chewing gum is not allowed in the classroom. The parents should make sure your kid does not bring gums to the school.

 

 

 

 

The Duties of the Parent Patrol

1. Come to the school at 1:50pm. Wait in front of the “Student Resource Center” building and gather the students in your class. Lead the students to the classroom when it’s 2:00pm.

2.When the class is in session, the parent patrol should stay inside the classroom, help with the special needs from the younger kids; assist the teacher when it is needed.

3.During the break time, the parent patrol should help the teacher supervise the student’s behavior and make sure the school rules are implemented. The parent patrol has responsibility to point out the improper behavior of the students; make sure the students stay away from the lake area, only stay in the open area in front of the classrooms, do not climb on the statue; report any issues to the principal.

4.Since the restrooms are located outside of the classrooms, during the restroom break time, the parent patrol should make sure the students are back to the classroom right after using the restroom. No students should stay outside and play.

5.If the student need to use the restroom when the class is in session due to the emergency situation, the parent patrol should follow the student to the outside and make sure the student is back to the classroom safely.

6.At the end of the class session, the parent patrol should help the teacher cleaning the classroom, and release the students to the parents.
